3 SERIE OXYGEN 3 - GENERALITES Qualités d’Oxygen 3. Oxygen 3 et 3 ST sont des consoles spécialement étudiées pour la radiodiffusion. Malgré l’objectif d’un faible coût, aucun compromis n’a été accepté sur la qualité et les possibilités. Les composants électroniques ont été choisis parmi les meilleurs produits disponibles. Les faders, potentiomètres et commutateurs sont signés ALPS. La plupart des commutateurs disposent de voyants à Led, et toutes les fonctions similaires utilisent les mêmes couleurs, les faders avec des couleurs différentes. Les faders à longue course assurent un réglage progressif et réproductible. Les modules téléphone incorporés comprennent un hybride de haute qualité. Although the designhas been carefully budgeted, no compromises has been made in either quality or features, particularly in theareas of switching, signaling, fader start/stop and communication. Electronic components have been selectedfrom the best on the market. Faders, potentiometers and switches are by ALPS. Most all of the switches haveled indicators and all similar functions are grouped and colour coded, with additional fader knobs with differentchannel colour coding. Long throw faders give a smooth, repeatable response. VCA control for input modulesliders is available as an option.Oxygen 4 modularity The console is fully modular, which means flexibility in the configuration. The Mono,Stereo, Telco and Telephone input modules can be placed anywhere in the chassis. A partially loaded Oxygen4 can be completed using low cost 'blind’ modules. The modular approach to the design means that modulereplacement, or expansion of the system can be carried out quickly and efficiently. All modules are internallyconnected by a strong bus cable which clips into place - removal of the cable and two screws allows eachmodule to be easily removed. Sa structure modulaire vous donne le choix entre des tranches Micro, Ligne/Phono, Telco et Multi entrées, insert téléphone complet; faisant de L'Oxygen 4 la solution idéale pour les stations radios professionnelles. L'Oxygen 4 est disponible dans les versions 10 et 20 modules. Sa structure extérieure est fabriquée en acier inox et aluminium avec une finition bois lui donnant un aspect très moderne. Sa large gamme de fonctions permet un contrôle immédiat et complet de l’audio. Chaque module mono et stéréo propose 2 entrées commutables et un contrôle de tonalité 3 bandes en options. Les commutateurs de démarrage direct des appareils audio est également disponible. La L'Oxygen 4 possède 2 bus de sortie (master/sub, permettant le travail ON/AIR et studio de production), 2 sorties d’enregistrement (assignable master/sub) et une section moniteur séparée pour le studio et le local interview. Although the designhas been carefully budgeted, no compromises has been made in either quality or features, particularly in theareas of VCA control, switching, signalling, fader start/stop and communication. Most all of the switches haveled indicators and all similar functions are grouped and colour coded, with additional fader knobs with differentchannel colour coding. The use of VCA's controlled switchers and faders ensure tight stereo tracking andeliminates mechanical and electronic noise. ALPS long throw faders give a smooth, repeatable response.Oxygen 7 flexibility.In designing the Oxygen 7, Axel technology decided to make the system as flexiblefor the operator as possible, and the Oxygen 7 can therefore be used in many ways.There are many jumper settings which can be set to suit your own needs. The Oxygen 7 can be used in atraditional manner with separate control and announcer rooms, or in a studio-complex environment, wherethere is more than one studio/control room being used for broadcast. In this situation, the Oxygen 7 is capableof being the main On-Air console, due to the three main (Master, Sub 1 and Sub 2) outputs it contains..Oxygen 7 modularity The console is fully modular, which means flexibility in the configuration. The optional DJ Console unit is a nice looking alternative with many extra's for remote Mic On/Offswitching and audio background level control.Oxygen 7 frames. A script try (10 module wide) is also available.Each console has always two output modules (Master and Monitor) to the far right which controls theStudio/Control Room monitoring, pre-fade listen and talkback functions together with the output selection of theMaster signal. The meter bridge contains three VU meters (Cue + Master Left / Right) and, as an option, twodigital timer.Signalling and communications. The Oxygen 7 has extensive possibilities for signalling andcommunications. Every microphone channel has its own talkback circuitry and signalling to know whethermicrophone is active. The announcer/technician/producer/director can communicate with the announcer studioor to the callers connected to the Telco modules for private communications.Each Oxygen 7 module allows also to control two relays controlling ON-AIR lamps.Final word… A little care with setting gain structure throughout the signal chain and connections will giveyou the very best performance and most manageable control of the mix.
